The July newspaper story began with the name and age of a woman at an abortion demonstration as she expressed her thoughts. Media stories on many topics often include such identification as a matter of course.

Her age means she has a birthday. Which means she wasn't aborted, but she wants to deny birthdays to millions or tens of millions because she doesn't realize what she's saying or doing.

The version of the feminist movement that burst forth in the 1970s made mothers the enemies of their babies. Quite the opposite of earlier feminism. The central act of abortion means to dispose cruelly of a completely defenseless little person who has committed no fault. However, there was a big person, the father, who feminists often actually were after, to show that the man — who maybe really was a cad —had no power to protect a pregnancy.

Many men said, “That’s great, it absolves us of any responsibility or financial obligation.” The feminist movement ended up biting itself. Other men were reduced to helpless tears. That meant gloating feminist power.

You can’t discuss cooking without mentioning ingredients. You can’t talk about maps without having directions. You can’t plan travel without a means of transportation. But you’ll hear of abortion rights and abortion freedoms and abortion liberties day and night for a half century without hearing these champions mention the central target, the preborn baby. Is that why regret and guilt also are shoved from the conscious world? Concealed in the womb of the psyche, but not destroyed.

This kind of abortion was intended to disrupt the very character of society and the nation. Look at many activist feminists of the 1970s, angry left-wingers with grudges. Who had megaphones handed to them by media admirers. And who perhaps tapped into some corporate moneybags.

When some politician today says she doesn’t want to deprive her daughter of the freedom to abort, that daughter is here only because her mother didn’t exercise abortion against her. And the grandmother didn’t exercise it against her own daughter. And so on.
