How many rosaries must "Catholic Joe" say for penance?
If Biden's middle name were a little different, would President "Robbingnette" steal kids' innocence?
We interrupt this newsletter to post a new message.
I already was working on a different topic to post today — which I’ll finish later — as word spread about Joe Biden working his lips on a little girl’s clothed upper body in Finland at the airport. The unedited video leaves small doubt about Biden engaging in inappropriate conduct. Reports said he was greeting U.S. embassy members and their families as he was about to board Air Force One at the Helsinki airport. This was only the latest — and perhaps most disgusting — of his undue familiarities with women and children who aren’t even in his family circle. The cognitively impaired Biden can’t seem to control his elderly urges.
If this is Biden’s way to get friendly with strange minors, his advisers better tell him it’s also a way to get some of his teeth knocked out by an outraged parent who momentarily forgets what the Secret Service may do to someone who lays a hand on the commander-in-chief, even if he’s acting wickedly.
The little girl, wearing a brightly colored dress, clearly is upset and pulls away from Biden as a woman described as her mother holds her. Biden’s nibbling shows his jaw working energetically. When Biden then attempts to kiss the child on the head, she pulls toward the woman and Biden moves away. Neither the woman nor a man next to her appears displeased. It seems to be more or less a joke to them, even if not to Biden’s little victim. If they’re associated with the U.S. embassy, they presumably got their jobs for being good, compliant Democrats, not Republicans with different loyalties. The incident lasts about 10 seconds.
Did the two adults fully see what occurred? The little girl who was the center of Biden’s action clearly understands what she’s being subjected to and doesn’t like it a bit. Being so young, she hasn’t learned yet about submerging her own welfare to party loyalties. However, even some grown females haven’t welcomed Biden’s excessive familiarities. They didn’t, though, get much traction in dominant media, whose own political-party preferences are well known. It’s not as if, say, Biden is that old atrocious Donald Trump. If accusations against Trump are true, he still only would have been asserting his own sense of what’s good and bad according to his “personal morality,” which dominant media’s good pal Planned Parenthood says takes priority over traditional standards. You know, do-it-yourself morality.
And if anyone might feel free to act out his own personal thoughts on what he can get away with, it’s surely Biden, that very close friend of Planned Parenthood.
Amid many strong adverse comments on social media to Biden’s airport incident was one saying that he showed more affection — if it could be called that — to this unidentified child than to his own granddaughter whose existence he even refuses to acknowledge, the little girl fathered outside marriage by the ne’er-do-well and very lawbreaking son, Hunter.
Democratic Party power brokers are well aware of what a burden Biden and his shady family are. Maybe they hope they still can scare up enough votes to get him reelected in 2024, even if they have to move him around in a wheelbarrow by then. That would look pretty awful, but no worse than this incident in Finland. Do party leaders just think that the U.S. public better mind its own business while Biden minds everyone’s as it suits him?
Maybe party leaders really will — Second Amendment spoiler! — bite the bullet and realize the party’s long-term interests are better served by shoving Biden aside than insisting that the incumbent president and his ill-suited vice president stay in power. But if party welfare really were important to party leaders, they wouldn’t have allowed it to jump off the cliff when Biden and his far-left administration started stomping on Americans.
Embodied evil often is portrayed misleadingly in books and movies. There are novelistic hints that bad stuff is afoot — on cloven hooves, not well-polished shoes. But if evil had an obviously diabolical touch, it wouldn’t be so tempting. To take history’s most famous story about being lured, ask Adam and Eve. The devil didn’t say that by disobeying God they would shatter their lives and be cast from Paradise. Oh no; just forget what that old God said, follow the devil’s advice and become as great as God. Well, it didn’t work out that way, but the devil’s a liar as well as everything else bad and wrong.
Novelist Taylor Caldwell portrayed the devil in one story as a gracious gentleman. Why, who would need to be cautious around such a fine fellow? Everyone’s aware that the devil has slanty eyes and a pig nose; you’ll always know to beware of such an obviously bad character. But what if the devil, like any shady salesman, knows how to make himself more appealing?
And what about a goofy old grandpa who stumbles around and falls, has trouble speaking and remembering, naps a lot, and loves to get his fill of ice cream. Surely he couldn’t be evil? Even if, inexplicably, this impaired, confused old man happens to be president of the still-most powerful nation in the world?
Could he be evil when he works his lips and jaw out in public on the upper body of a frightened young girl? Behavior that could get someone else arrested as a child molester. I suggest that you do NOT act like Biden with some kid on the city sidewalks unless you want to start providing for a lawyer’s income.
Here on July 15, I just checked the websites of The New York Times and Washington Post about the July 13 incident. No outrage or even an easily found article yet. Maybe they need more time to collect their thoughts and slant. Meanwhile, the widely circulated UK Mirror, a left-wing journal, acknowledged it on July 15 while trying to laugh it off.
The Mirror’s second paragraph said: “President Joe Biden’s attempts playful attempt [sic] to engage with a small girl went awry after he pretended to nibble her during a campaign trail stop in Finland.”
Was the copy editor so shaken that she couldn’t catch “attempts playful attempt”?
“Playful.” Or maybe sinister? “Pretended to”? He got his mouth working right away on her upper body. No pretense there. Then he was ready to give her a kiss, too, when she pulled away. Did he finally get the message that he better move along?
The Mirror’s fourth paragraph said: “He pretended he was going to nibble the little girl before attempting to give her a kiss — which was firmly rejected as she awkwardly snubbed the politician.”
The next paragraph said this was merely Biden’s “sweet attempt to say hello, but the child merely scowled at the President who turned away.”
Well, gag us with a calorie-smeared ice-cream scooper. You get the drift.
This is the same Biden who, among other strange incidents, had talked about kids coming up to rub the hairs on his legs at a swimming pool when he was a lifeguard years ago.
And, Fox News posted on July 14: “One of the most famous instances of Biden acting awkwardly around children was in 2015, while serving as vice president, when he oddly whispered into the ear of Sen. Chris Coons’ daughter during his swearing-in ceremony for another Senate term. In video that captured the exchange, the girl looked visibly uncomfortable and pulled away when Biden tried to give her a peck on the cheek.”
There are numerous additional incidents. Having started doing this while he still was regarded as cognitively whole, Biden must have a new set of adventures beckoning him as his mind drifts to who knows where. He surely deserves another term somewhere. But probably where he’s inside a room that locks only from the outside.
